Era of Jheri curls....shiny clothes and funk..Alex Zito dominated the airwaves in the early 90's..i remember this song quite well, one of my favorites.
WHAT I COULD FIND ON HIM
Household name in Nigerian music, Alex Zitto, who is half Ghanaian
and half Nigerian, had his first professional stint when he was spotted
by Nigerian Juju music legend, Ebenezer Obey, who enlisted him in the
famous Miliki Band as a bassist.
Alex Zitto finally exploded when he won the Lekki Song Contest with his hit song “Tickle Me” in 1988. From then on, the sky was the limit. He then recorded his first album entitled Tickle Me subsequently, on the label of Polygram International. The album was well received, and it put Alex Zitto on the lips of both young and old in Nigeria.
