ShoJay Oteri comes from the royal family in Warri, Delta
state, and was born on the 9th of November. He grew up in Kaduna State and was
active in music right from the tender age of 8. He attended Command Secondary
School Kaduna, and obtained a Degree in Computer Engineering from the University
of Maiduguri. The last time he was in the spotlight was when he emerged
Northern regional winner of Glo Naija Sings season 2. He’s undoubtedly one of
the finest RnB crooners to surface in Nigeria since 2004 when he shared the stage
with d likes of P Square and Ruggedman..
Apart from being a Biker and a model he’s also a skilled pianist and producer, he has featured on a number of Songs like “If u want me” by Overdose among others. He has a passion to deliver good music to his fans and lovers of good music worldwide. This is the first of a string of singles titled “IF YOUR SEXY” which he also produced. In this song he exploits the “sexyness” of the Hausa language to provide a sweet blend of contagious music. ShoJay undoubtedly brings a different kind of groove, and shows his charisma and vocal prowess as a force to reckon with.
