Olubukola Lawal is a seasoned Nigerian rap artiste who hails from Lagos State
and was born into a family of four. He is an undergraduate of University of Lagos, Akoka. According to sources, he has been in the music industry for quite a while and he has had collabos with the likes of VOSA,FEARDEEVEE,DAQ CHILD,OSAGZ LYNOX,12 GUAGE, PHEEL, VECTOR and DARK POET amongst others. His lyrics show versitility and cuts through the Nigerian hip-hop diaspora. Growing up, he listened to the likes of NAS, COMMON, TALIB KWELI, JAY-Z, KANYE WEST and LUPE FIASCO on the international music scene and the likes of FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI, MODE 9, ELDEE XTRA LARGE, BARON 5 and other swat root members on the domestic music scene. He was also involved in Dare art Alade's MOST UNDAREYTED SHOW on soundcity dstv where he was enlisted as one of the top 3 finalists.
LABZY LAWAL is also a veteran in freestyle battling and has kicked cyphas with seasoned specialists like VECTOR, M.I, DARK POET, LYNOX da POET, 12 GUAGE, BLACK JESUS, DICE and BUCK WYLLA amongst others. Three of his hit singles:JOOH, WYNE and Fela Kuti remix of ZOMBIE are currently enjoying massive airplay on Nigerian radio stations like Unilag fm, Raypower fm, Wazobia fm, Cool fm, Radio Continental and noteably the Beat 99.9 fm.
