Pictures from D'banj's Oliver Twist Video Shoot

Mike Dean, Manny Fresh, Hit Boy SC, Dbanj & Pusha-T

Where has Dbanj been over the past few weeks?

Well he’s been working on his video for Oliver Twist, and hasn’t been in the country.

It looks like he was able to get a good number of international acts together to join him in the Oliver Twist video. From what we can spot we’re guessing Kanye West, Will.I.Am, Big Sean, Manny Fresh, Pusha T, Hit Boy, SC & Mike Dean will all make appearances in the video. Oh yeah we also heard Noni Zondi is supposed to make an appearance too… We def wont mind if that’s true.

Can’t wait. Check out some pics

Moving on to some good news for Naija music this week, the Kokomaster D’Banj has just landed a Number 7 spot on music bible Billboard Magazine’s Next Big Sound.

Next Big Sound is a new chart offering by Billboard which tracks the real time web chatter surrounding musicians from around the globe over the course of a week, across all major social networks ( Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Youtube) to predict who the next big thing will be!

Congrats to D’Banj…the Snoop Dogg collab did nothing but raise his profile…twitter was blowing up with the news! I wonder which Naija artiste will be the next on that chart?
